Tree planting at Chimney Pot Park, Salford

We are working with the Royal Horticultural Society and their community team on tree planting for local groups and on Saturday 30th November we will be at Chimney Pot Park in Salford where we’ve supplied trees following local consultation including Nyssa, Cornus, Liquidambar and a monkey puzzle.

There’s a Friends of Chimney Pot Park event on that day to see the new trees and celebrate so do come if you’re passing! You can find more information on the friends Facebook page.

This is part of a wider responsibility programme for our studio of making conscious and active commitments to reduce our impact on this precious world around us. One of these is to choose the train rather than flying wherever possible and we’re doing this more and more including travelling to a Europe for projects. When we do have to fly, we commit to making positive, meaningful and active contributions to offset those by buying trees and working on a local level to help enhance green spaces.

Our next planting project will be in the southwest again in partnership with the RHS but if you’re a community group anywhere in the UK who would like to register an interest in future trees for your group, school or park please email
