The design was based around Liverpool’s revolutionary Albert Dock, which features the UK’s largest collection of Grade 1 listed buildings, including the world’s first non combustible warehouse built solely from cast iron, brick and granite. With the creation of fragmented walls and the use of pleached trees, this garden was designed to be viewed by visitors walking through it as well as around it.  It is a scaled-down aerial view of the docks through which the viewer can experience new views.  This creates intriguing vistas from all angles yet provides a peaceful and tranquil area in which to sit and relax.

This garden was relocated to Purbeck Secondary School in Dorset where it now acts as both a recreational and educational garden for both pupils and staff.
