Charlotte has been shortlisted for Gardening Columnist of the Year at the Garden Media Guild Awards,  widely regarded as the “gardening Oscars”.

Her nomination recognises her 12-part Design Details series for Gardens Illustrated, where she explored the ideas, principles and inspiration behind thoughtful, contemporary garden design. Across the series, Charlotte offered practical guidance on a wide range of topics, from gardens on a budget and stylish small gardens to family-friendly spaces, sloping garden solutions, front-garden design and ecological, climate-resilient planting. Each column has offered practical insights into tackling design challenges and explored the creativity and innovation across the gardening and design community that inspires her.
