Spring is here and almost two years to the day since our Horatio’s Garden at RHS Chelsea Flower Show was awarded Best in Show, it has opened its gates to patients with spinal injuries and the NHS staff who care for them. At its permanent home at the Northern General Hospital in Sheffield, a former car park has been transformed into the eighth garden for the charity: a richly planted, hopeful, and accessible space for patients, families, and staff.
We’re also thrilled to see our rural Dorset garden featured on the cover of Gardens Illustrated’s May issue. And just a fortnight ago, we were honoured to be named Pro Landscaper’s Best Landscape Architecture Studio for the second year running.
Life in the studio is as busy as ever. Our work on the Barbican Conservatory Renewal is progressing apace, and we’ve recently begun new residential projects stretching from the Scottish Borders and the Cotswolds to the rolling hills of Devon.
Next week, Charlotte and Hugo will be judging at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, with roles on both the Show Garden panel and the Environmental Innovation Award. If you’ve ever wondered how the judging process works, Charlotte features in a short RHS video that helps demystify the rigour behind the scenes.
Whether you’re heading to the show or busy in your own garden, we hope you’re enjoying all the energy and excitement the season brings.
