An aromatic, secluded garden, enjoyed both indoors and out

Set out as a refined, immersive garden, our design for this Scottish home creates a series of connected garden rooms, each responding carefully to aspect, light levels and views across North Berwick.

The design unfolds as three distinct yet interconnected spaces: a richly planted Sensory Garden with aromatic planting and wellness elements; a Dining Garden, framed by sculptural Acers and viewed from within the house; and a secluded Secret Garden inspired by woodland and forest-bathing principles, offering calm, shade-loving planting and moments of pause.

Extensive solar and site analysis underpins the planting strategy, ensuring long-term success and seasonal interest. Reclaimed materials, immersive planting and carefully framed views combine to create a garden that is experienced both indoors and out.
